When we
talk about kaya puff, which shop will you recommend to your friends or
family? For me, I will recommend Sin Eng Heong’s kaya puff. This shop started
way back in1961 in the neighbourhood of Pasar Pinji. Baking various traditional
biscuits for a good number of years before the brand came into prominence.
Today, the shop is synonymous with excellent Ipoh kaya puffs.

If you so
happen to come on weekends or public holidays, or a combined stretch of public
holidays, then please take that toilet break earlier and be prepared to wait in
line. To avoid leaving empty-handed and sour-faced, give them a call before you
go because the acclaimed pastries may run out fast.

Their other pastries are equally nice , and
should satiate your cravings for some snacks such as ‘Lou Por Peng’, ‘ Heong Beng’ (fragrant biscuit) and
others.

10 pieces
to a box, or 5 pieces in the smaller plastic container and each RM0.80. It’s
convenient for us if we want to buy and bring it back for our friend or family
as souvenir.
