When you mention Apom Balik, where’s the first
destination of Apom Balik did you think of? I can guarantee that most of you
are thinking outside of Kampar. Well then, my fellow readers, you are missing
out on something tremendously delicious! Yes, I am talking about Kampar Pasar’s
early morning Apom Balik.
Not a lot of people know about Kampar Pasar’s
Apom Balik because it had never been advertised before, and it is mainly due to
the fact that it had been hiding under the glory of other famous food in
Kampar. Apom Balik, you may say, is the underrated food in Kampar. The smell of
the food, the crunchiness of the exterior, and the rich flow of butter, nuts
and corn would swim right into your mouth, coating your tongue with a
sensational taste that would make you yearn for more.

This Apom Balik is not
very well-known to outsiders is because it does not own a shop or a space in
the market. The Apom Balik is opened as a stall, opening and preparing their
food as early as 8 in the morning. People would soon swarm over to the stall in
hopes they could buy some of the Apom Balik. Tourists who have visited Kampar
before have taken a series of pictures on this Apom Balik because it smells
amazing, and it taste amazing.

The price of the Apom Balik is not expensive at
all, a single piece only cost 0.80 cents, and it is absolutely worth it. Buy
more than a certain amount, the stall’s clerk will give you discount and make
it as though a package deal which is worth the buy. They also have good
customer service, as the clerks of the stall prioritize those who come first
before the later ones.
