Most of the university student know well
about the food in New Town and doesn’t really approach much to the food at Old
Town. Today, I am going to introduce one of the best food in Old Town, which is
Heng Kee Claypot Chicken Rice. Heng Kee Claypot Rice is a historical place for
a local Kamparian. This is because Heng Kee Claypot Chicken Rice had a 50 years
history in Kampar.
When I reached the shop, the place is
crowded with people who is waiting for their claypot chicken rice. There are
few ingredient will be in it which is chicken, sausage and salted fish. If you
want to add extra ingredient, extra money will be charged.

The chicken is very delicious with the
sauce, meat is firm and nice to eat. You will want to try again the chicken
once you eat it. In addition, the rice also sweet smelling. There are different
sizes of the claypot chicken rice which is small, medium and large. Small sized
claypot is enough for one person and it costs you only RM6. However, if you are
going with 2 or 3 person above I suggest you can try the medium or large
claypot and the price is RM15 and RM20 respectively.
